Gary Kilmister has been active within the IT industry for nearly twenty years. He started his career with an investment company where, as Head of IT, he was responsible for IT across several group companies. Gary was also responsible for establishing new partnerships with IBM and other business partners.

Amongst his many achievements Gary designed and implemented a range of network solutions and managed network infrastructure including network servers, AS400 mainframe systems and network communications. Gary was also responsible for implementing new telephone systems for the group and subsidiary companies enabling interconnectivity between sites. Before leaving Gary successfully implemented a complete CRM package which gave the business a secure foundation for future growth.

In 1998 Gary moved to Manchester and joined Frontline Consultancy and Business Services. As an IT Consultant Gary assisted in the setup, installation and management of a range of network infrastructures and applications. He supported high profile clients across the country including JCB Dealerships, Interfloor and Johnston Sweepers.

In 2006, Gary was promoted within Frontline and took on responsibility for setting up and growing their managed services business. As part of this role Gary was also responsible for the corporate data centre. Gary's process oriented approach gave the business strong foundations and enabled the business to deliver 100% uptime on monitored SLAs and KPIs.

Gary left Frontline in August 2007 to spend some time with his wife upon the birth of his first child.

Within IFL Gary has responsibility for data centre operations at Reynolds House. Together with a team of technicians Gary's focus is to deliver a stable and resilient environment in which IFL's clients can locate their IT services.
